Empties Vol. 7. Acabados Vol. 7

Un post más sobre los productos que he ido acabando en esta última temporada, y como siempre, algunos me encantan, otros me gustan y otros más han sido una decepción. ¡Vamos a verlos!

Another Empties post with my last finished products, some of them are great, some others are ok, and there are disappointments too. Let's check them out!

1- The Body Shop. Chocomanía gel de ducha.
Con los productos de TBS tengo una relación de amor-odio desde hace tiempo. Me suelen gustar sus texturas, sus olores y su política de comercio justo. Por otra parte, sus ingredientes dejan mucho que desear para una marca que se supone "verde". En este caso, el gel de Chocomanía se va a la lista de "nuncamais" básicamente por su olor, no me huele a chocolate ni nada parecido, de hecho probé el gel al principio del embarazo y lo ha usado mi chico, y él también dice "no more".

¿Repetiré? No-no-no.


1 - The Body Shop. ChocoMania shower gel.
 I have a love -hate relationship with TBS products. I tend to like their textures, scent and Community Fair Trade policy. On the other hand, their ingredients are poor and not very clean for a brand supposed to be  "green ". In this case, the ChocoMania shower cream is a "never again" basically because of its scent, it does not smell like chocolate at all, in fact I tried the gel twice during early pregnancy and couldn't use it anymore.

Repurchase? No - no-no.

2- Christian Dior Nude Teint Eclat Effet Peau Nue. Tono 020.
Base de maquillaje de cobertura ligera-media, acabado efecto piel desnuda, contiene un 40% de agua mineral en su composición, lo que proporciona una sensación muy agradable de frescor en la piel al aplicarla. Me gusta el efecto natural que deja, su olor y que el tono se ajusta al mío perfectamente.
Su único "pero" en mi caso es su duración, a partir de las 5 horas hay que retocar.

¿Repetiré? No lo descarto.


2 - Christian Dior Nude Skin-Glowing make Up. Shade 020.
Foundation with a  light - medium coverage and a naked skin  finish contains 40 % of mineral water in its composition, which provides a nice fresh feeling on the skin when applied. I like its natural effect,  its scent and this shade fits me perfectly.
Its only downside: it's not long-lasting, needs retouching after 5 hours.

Repurchase? May be.

3- Deliplus Desodorante Black Nature.
No contiene sales de aluminio, alcohol ni perfume, pero abandona que no os podéis imaginar. Muy barato de precio, pero como desodorante un horror.

¿Repetiría? Ni en broma.


3 - Black Deliplus Deodorant Nature.
Does not contain aluminium salt, alcohol or perfume, but It held really badly. Very cheap price, but a nightmare as a deodorant, not effective at all.

Repurchase? Nope.

4- Nuxe Rêve de Miel bálsamo labial.
Ya todas habréis oído hablar sobre este bálsamo indicado para labios secos o descamados, y eso es por algo. Huele bien, tienen una textura agradable y les sienta bien a mis labios. En su formulación encontramos alguna silicona.

¿Repetiré? Es probable.


4 - Nuxe Rêve de Miel lip balm.
I'm sure you have already heard about this balm suitable for dry or chapped lips, and that's for a reason. Smells good, has a nice texture, nourishes and feels nice on my lips. There are some silicones in its formulation though.

Repurchase? Probably.


5- Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Herba Fresca.
Mi perfume de cabecera desde hace unos años. Siempre repito, no os imagináis lo bien que huele. Es un perfume que recuerda al hierba recién cortada con un punto de menta. Fresco, pero duradero, nunca he probado otro perfume así. la próxima vez que paséis por un stand de Guerlain, por favor, oledlo. Y ya me diréis.

¿Repetiré? Ya lo he hecho.


5 - Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Herba Fresca.
My fave perfume for years now. I always repurchase it, you can not imagine how good it smells. It is a freshly cut grass with a touch of mint scent. Fresh but long-lasting, haven't tried any other herbal perfume with a scent like this one. You have to smell it. Seriously.

Repurchase? Already done it.

Boots Botanics Hot Cloth Cleansing Balm. Boots Botanics balsamo limpiador con muselina.

Cada vez que viajo a Inglaterra dedico un buen rato a perderme entre sus droguerías y farmacias tipo Boots, Superdrug, etc. En mi último viaje encontré una limpiadora que quiero que conozcáis, porque se ha convertido en una de mis favoritas.

Everytime I travel to England I spend a couple of hours wandering through drugstores and pharmacies such as Boots, Superdrug, etc. On my last trip I found a cleanser I want to show you because it has become one of my favorites.

Pertenece a la línea Botanics de Boots, una línea elaborada básicamente con productos orgánicos y extractos de diferentes plantas, no testan en animales y sus productos no contienen parabenos ni aceites minerales. 

Este bálsamo limpiador contiene concretamente  65ml y cuesta unos 10€, un 97% de ingredientes orgánicos entre los que destacan: aceite de oliva, aceite de semilla de jojoba, manteca de karité, aceite de almendras, etc.

It belongs to the Boots Botanics range, made ​​with organic extracts from different plants, they do not test on animals and their products do not contain parabens or mineral oils. It has 65ml and costs about 10 €.

This balm contains 97 % organic ingredients such as: olive oil, jojoba seed oil , shea butter oil, sweet almond oil, etc. 

Mi experiencia.

Es la primera limpiadora en formato bálsamo que pruebo, por lo que no la puedo comparar con otras limpiadoras tipo Eve Lom, aunque sí puedo deciros que ésta última contiene parafina líquida, y la de Botanics no.

Es una especie de bálsamo o ungüento sólido con una fragancia herbal muy ligera, que hay que masajear con los dedos antes de aplicarlo sobre la cara, y su textura se transforma en un aceite muy agradable que retira las impurezas o suciedad acumulada durante el día.

Tras masajearlo bien sobre la piel de cara y cuello con movimientos ascendentes (se necesita muy poca cantidad), se retira con una muselina que viene incluida y que tenemos que impregnar en agua templada. Tras este paso, mojamos de nuevo la muselina, esta vez en agua fría y la dejamos reposar unos segundos sobre la piel, para cerrar los poros, y tras este paso, la sensación de limpieza que se consigue es increíble.

My experience.

It is the first cleansing balm I try, so I can not compare it with other balms like Eve Lom's one, though I can tell you that the latter contains liquid paraffin, and this one doesn't.

It's solid balm with a very light herbal fragrance, I usually rub it between my fingers before applying to my face, and its texture nicely transforms into oil removing all the impurities or dirt accumulated during the day. 

After massaging it well on face and neck with upward strokes, I  remove it with a muslin cloth  included that I soak in warm water. Then I soak it again in cold water and wipe my whole face with it, let the cloth sit on my face and press it over my face to close pores. After this step my skin feels really fresh and clean.

Yo la uso un par de veces por semana, siempre por la noche y tras el agua micelar, porque es un ritual que lleva unos minutos y por la mañana nunca tengo tiempo, la verdad. Tras aplicarla, siento la piel limpia, fresca, suave y muy hidratada, aunque yo sí que necesito continuar con mi rutina facial nocturna: tónico, esencia, crema de noche, etc. Lo único que no me ha gustado del producto ha sido la muselina, no la encuentro lo suficientemente suave. ¡Si conocéis alguna muselina que merezca la pena, me encantaría que me dijérais cuál os funciona!

I use it a couple of times a week, always at night and after  micellar water because it is a ritual that takes a few minutes and  in the morning I just don't have the time, really. When I use it, my skin feels clean, fresh, soft and moisturized, but I do I need to continue with my night face routine: toning water, essence, night cream and so on. The only thing I did not like about it is the muslin cloth, I do not find itsoft enough . If you know any muslin cloth you really enjoy, I would love to hear it!

Os la recomiendo totalmente, sobre todo si tenéis una piel mixta, normal o seca. Para pieles grasas no me atrevería a recomendarla, la textura puede resultar demasiado untuosa, pero para las demás, si podéis haceros con una, adelante, ¡os va a encantar!

I totally recommend it, specially if you have combination, normal or dry skin. However, I 

 would not recommend it for oily skin, the balm  texture may be too dense, but for the rest of you, go ahead, you will love it!

Mama Bee Leg & Foot Cream. Crema de pies y piernas de Mama Bee.

Reconozco que llevo unos meses enganchada a esta marca, una de las sorpresas de esta temporada. Mamma Bee es una de las líneas de cuidado corporal específico para mamás de la marca Burt's Bees, ya que sus componentes son prácticamente todos de origen natural y muy suaves para el cuidado de la piel de las embarazadas o de cualquier persona que quiera un cuidado básicamente limpio.

I must say I've become a huge fan of Mamma Bee's products since the first time I tried them some months ago. Mamma Bees is  Burt 's Bees specific brand for mums, and all its components are basically natural and very gentle to the skin of pregnant women or anyone who wants to have a clean daily care routine.

Today we'll check its Leg and Foot Cream, which  ingredients are 100% natural and its results have definitely convinced me.

La crema para pies y piernas de Mama Bee es una crema blanca y densa,  que se absorbe fácilmente y no deja sensación pegajosa en la piel. Es perfecta para masajear pies y  piernas ( yo lo hago en sentido ascencente) en los días en que las notamos pesadas, hinchadas, con calambres o para las molestias que solemos sentir en esta zona en el embarazo o en cualquier otro momento. Inmediatamente se nota una sensación de frescor y alivio en las piernas, de mejora en la circulación, y esta sensación aumenta si conservamos la crema en el frigorífico y nos la aplicamos fría.

Bedside Beauty. ¿Que hay en mi mesita de noche?

Tengo que admitirlo: no puedo dormir si no me aplico bálsamo labial o noto la piel de las manos tirante. Por eso en mi mesita de noche siempre guardo varios salvavidas que os enseño ahorita mismo.

I have to admit it, I can not sleep without a good lip balm or hand cream. So on my bedside I always keep several life saviors, let's check them out .

Suelo pulverizar un par de veces sobre las almohadas la bruma de loto blanco de RITUALS Yin Calming Bed Spray que os enseñé AQUI. Lo siguiente son los labios, con el embarazo he notado la piel mucho más seca que de costumbre, y tengo un montón de bálsamos super hidratantes en todos los sitios: cajones, bolsos... Uno que me gusta mucho es el de L'Occitane que contiene un 10% de manteca de karité y es super cremoso.

I usually spritz  RITUALS Yin Calming Spray Bed (review here) on my pillows, super soft and calming scent which i love. Then on  the lips, during my pregnancy I have noticed my skin getting drier, so I have a lot of super moisturizing balms everywhere: boxes, bags, drawers ... One I really like is super creamy L' Occitane lip balm, containing 10 % shea butter.

Otra cosa que me gusta hacer es pulverizar sobre el rostro agua termal, ahora mismo estoy usando el de La Roche Posay, en un tamaño perfecto para la mesilla. El último paso son las manos, y suelo empezar aplicando una crema hidratante en las cutículas, en esta ocasión la crema para cutículas con manteca de limón de Burt's Bees, que me tiene loca, no os imagináis el olor tan rico a limón que tiene y lo que hidrata cutículas y uñas, ayudando a evitar los pellejitos tan molestos que a veces me salen,  además sus ingredientes son totalmente naturales, ¡no sé cómo he podido estar tanto tiempo sin él!

Another thing I like to do is to spray some thermal water on my face, now I'm using La Roche Posay, in a perfect size for my bedside. Then I continue with my hands, and usually start applying a moisturizer on my cuticles, like the Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream by Burt 's Bees, which has an amazing lemon scent that I love and helps prevent those bits of skin on my cuticles and fingers, plus its ingredients are completely natural. A must!

Por último, la hidratante de manos. Suelo usar las de L'Occitane o Caudalie, que son mis favoritas, pero tienen un olor que ahora mismo no puedo aguantar y es una pena, porque me encantan, pero he tenido que buscar cremas con menos perfume, como ésta de Bioderma Atoderm que es menos densa pero nutre e hidrata perfectamente sin parabenos y con un perfume mucho más suave.

I finish up with a good hand cream. i love L' Occitane or Caudalie creams, which are my favorites, but they have a strong scent that I can not stand at this very moment, so I had to look for another hand cream with a subtler perfume like this one by Bioderma. Atoderm is less dense but nourishes and moisturizes perfectly my hands without containing parabens and with a much softer scent.
