Not for me's. No son para mi.

No suelo hacer entradas con las productos que no me gustan, pero hoy creo que debo enseñaros dos productos de los que había leído muy buenas críticas, pero que en mí no han funcionado. Aquí os los enseño.

I do not usually write entries of the products I don't like, but now I think I should show you two products which I had read very good reviews of, but they have not worked well on me. Here they are.


1.- The Body Shop. Hidratante con té verde.

Es una hidratante indicada para pieles con tendencia acnéica. Lo compré tras notar durante una temporada la piel más grasa de lo habitual, y con brotes de acné en mejillas y barbilla. Es un gel blanquecino, con un olor y textura muy agradables pero que tiene un montón de siliconas. Cuando lo utilicé no noté ninguna mejoría en los brotes de mi piel, y tampoco noté que hidratara mi piel todo lo que necesitaba, por lo que definitivamente este producto no es para mi.


1. -  The Body Shop.Tea Tree Skin Clearing Lotion.

It is a moisturizer suitable for acne-prone skin. I bought when I noticed my skin was oilier than usual, and I had some breakouts on cheeks and chin. It is a white gel with a very nice scent and texture but it has a lot of silicones. When I used it I did not notice any improvement on my skin breakouts, and  I also felt my skin became dry and rough, so this product is definitely for me.

2.- Origins Zero Oil. Tónico purificante.

Otro producto que no me funciona. Es un tónico que compré también en esa época en la que noté la piel más grasa, por lo que fui a Sephora y me recomendaron este producto. Es un producto agradable, que huele genial a menta y contiene ácido salicílico.
Hasta ahí bien. Pero contiene alcohol como segundo ingrediente, y eso para mi piel es un horror. Debí fijarme al comprarlo, error de principiante, pero no lo hice, y ahora me está costando horrores terminarlo, porque si lo uso durante varios días seguidos, mi piel se reseca y en ocasiones llega a producirme el efecto rebote y generarme granitos.
como el anterior, éste tónico no es para mí.

2. - Origins Zero Oil. Purifying Tonic.

Another product that does not work for me. It is a tonic I also bought when I noticed my skin oilier than usual, so I went to Sephora and they recommended me this product. It is a nice product, it smells great and contains salicylic acid which is an antiseptic.
So far so good. But it contains alcohol as a secong ingredient, and that is a nightmare on my skin. I should have read the ingredients before buying it, rookie mistake, but I didn't, and now it is taking me a lot of effort to empty it, because if I use it for several days, my skin is dry and sometimes breaks me out.
As the previous product, this tonic is not for me.

Summer Hair Care Routine. Rutina capilar de verano.

En verano suelo tener el pelo más quebradizo y seco que el resto del año. Hace unos meses me hice unos reflejos en el pelo, y desde entonces lo noto mucho más castigado. Es por eso que he añadido algunos nuevos productos que aportan reestructuración e hidratación al pelo en mi rutina capilar. Os la enseño por orden de utilización.

In summer I usually find my hair drier than  the rest of the year. A few months ago I had some highlights done  on my  hair, and since then I feel it parched and a bit straw-like. That's why I have added some new products that restructure and moisturize my hair during this sea and sun months. This is how I use them.


2. Fekkai: Luscious Curls.

Champú para pelo rizado de Fekkai. Una de mis marcas de cuidado favoritas. Me gusta el olor, la espuma que produce, el resultado... Aunque no tanto el precio. Yo lo suelo comprar en los precios locos de Sephora, aunque me acabo de enterar de que también retiran esta marca de sus tiendas y la sustituyen por Bumble&Bumble. Una pena, porque Fekkai tiene unos champús excelentes.


2. Fekkai: Luscious Curls.

My favourite curly hair shampoo from Fekkai. I like its smell, the foam it produces, the result ... Its only con is its price. I usually buy it at Sephora during the sales, but I just found this brand has also been removed from their shops and replaced by Bumble & Bumble. A shame because Fekkai has some excellent shampoos.

4. Kerastase Resistance. Masque Force Architecte.

Esta es una mascarilla para reestructurar el cabello dañado. Me la recomendó mi peluquero, y no puedo estar más contenta con ella. La dejo actuar unos minutos mientras me ducho, y noto mucho mejor el pelo. ¿El problema? No es una mascarilla barata. Sobre unos 30€.


4. Kerastase Resistance. Masque Force Architecte.

This is a mask to restructure damaged hair. I was recommended by my hairdresser, and I can not be happier with it. I leave it for a few minutes while I'm having a bath or shower, and I feel my hair softer and shinier. The problem? This mask is not cheap. About €30.


1. Bálsamo nutritivo y desenredante con mango de Klorane.

Lo compré en la farmacia de Tórtola a la que suelo acudir, y al principio no me gustó demasiado, porque no hacía demasiado a mi pelo tan dañado. Sin embargo, ahora la aplico tras la mascarilla de Kerastase, la dejo actuar unos minutos, y al retirarla, tengo el pelo suave e hidratado. Me funciona muy bien, y tiene un olor increíble a mango.


1. Klorane Nourishing and Detangling balm with Mango.

I bought it in the pharmacy I usually go to, and  I did not like very much the first time I used it, because my hair was  damaged so badly. However, now I apply it after my Kerastase mask, leave it for a few minutes, and rinse it. It leaves my hair soft and hydrated. It works great on me, and has an amazing mango scent that I love.


3. Aceite de tratamiento Moroccan Oil.

Ya os hablé de este aceite en reviews anteriores, sólo tengo que añadir que sólo lo utilizaba cuando me alisaba el pelo, pero he descubierto que si lo utilizas en pelo rizado, evita su encrespamiento y deja el rizo más suelto, así es que si aún no lo habéis probado de esta manera, os lo recomiendo.


3.  Moroccan Oil Hair Treatment.

I already raved about this oil in previous reviews, I only have to add that I just used it whenever I straightened my hair, but I have found that when used on curly hair, it prevents frizz and leaves your curly hair soft and supple, so if you have have not tried it this way, I really recommend it.

Y esa es actualmente mi rutina. Cuando voy a la playa o a la piscina, le añado un protector solar de para el pelo de ISDIN e intento recogérmelo bajo un sombrero para evitar más agresiones en mi pelo.

And that is my hair routine at the moment. When I go to the beach or swimming pool, I add a sunscreen on my hair and try to tie it and wear a hat to prevent more damage on my already chemically damaged hair.

In & Out. Vitamin Serums.

Segunda entrada de la serie In & Out. En esta ocasión os presento dos sérums vitaminados anti-fatiga: Vitalskin de Darphin y Mesolift de Lierac.

Second entry of the In & Out Series. This time I bring you two vitamin- enriched serums: Darphin Vitalskin and Lierac Mesolift.

1.- Lierac Mesolift Sérum.

Ya os hablé de éste suero aquí, y como os comenté, es un suero fantástico. La única pega que le puedo poner, una vez terminado el bote, es su gotero. Cuando quedaba muy poco producto, me costaba cogerlo con este aplicador, por lo que tenía que darle la vuelta y dejar que cayera sobre la mano. Al final el gotero de desprendió,por lo que no me quedó más remedio que utilizarlo de esta manera que os digo.
Por lo demás, perfecto.



1. - Lierac Mesolift Serum.

I already raved about this serum here, and as I mentioned, it is a great serum. The only drawback on it is the dropper. When the jar was almost emptied, I could hardly catch the product with this dropper, so I had to turn it around and let it fall on my hand. At the end, the dropper fell off, so I had no choice but to use it  this way.
Apart from that, perfect.

2.- Darphin Vitalskin Serum.

Es un sérum revitalizante anti-fatiga, con vitamina C, que no contiene parabenos y cuyos ingredientes son en un 96% de origen natural. Tiene una textura muy ligera, acuosa, y se absorbe rápidamente, dejando la piel con una sensación fresca muy agradable.
Me gusta particularmente su olor, cítrico y afrutado, pero que desaparece en cuanto lo aplicamos en la piel, un olor muy agradable.
Los resultados tras varias semanas de uso por la mañana antes de la hidratante, son buenos. Noto la piel más hidratada y con mejor tono, menos apagada.



2. - Vitalskin Darphin Serum.

It is a revitalizing anti-fatigue serum with vitamin C, which contains no parabens, and its ingredients are 96% natural. It has a very watery and light texture, and it is absorbed quickly, leaving my skin feeling fresh and plump.
I particularly like its fruity smell, which disappears as soon as you apply it on your skin, it is a very pleasant smell.
The results after several weeks of use in the morning before the moisturizer, are good. I notice a more moisturized, glowing and fresh skin.



3.- Comparativa.

Son dos sérums muy similares. Se parecen en la función, el precio (unos 50€), en los resultados, en el color e incluso se parecen un poco en el olor. Ambos huelen a frutas de manera muy agradable. Los dos son sérums de marcas francesas de dermofarmacia con unos equipos de investigación detrás que avalan todos sus nuevos lanzamientos, a mí ambas me transmiten mucha confianza, casi todos los productos que he probado de ambas marcas me han funcionado bien.

Las únicas diferencias que he encontrado han sido el formato del dosificador y la textura. En cuanto al dosificador, prefiero el de Darphin, me parece más cómodo y menos engorroso. Sobre la textura, me quedo con el de Lierac, me gusta esa textura de gel ligero que resulta muy refrescante sobre la piel.

En definitiva, dos sérums muy parecidos que os recomiendo para periodos en los que notéis vuestra piel con falta de luminosidad, decaída.


3. - Comparison.

They are two very similar serums. They are similar in function, price (about €50), results, colour and even smell. Both have a very pleasant fruity scent. Both are serums by well-known trustful French pharmacy brands, and almost all the products I've tried from both brands have worked great on my skin.

The only differences I've found have been the dropper/pump and texture. On droppers, I prefer the Darphin one, it seems easier and cleaner to me. About the texture, I'll take the Lierac one, I like its light gel texture because it feels really refreshing on my skin.

In short, two very similar serums that I recommend for periods when you feel your skin dull, dehydrated.

Summer holidays: Japan!. Vacaciones de verano: Japon!

¡Hola, chicas!

Hoy os traigo un post cortito para contaros que me voy de vacaciones. ¡A Japón! Llevaba tiempo queriendo hacer este viaje, y al final lo he conseguido, tengo un montón de ganas.
Llevo muchas cosas apuntadas que debo ver, hacer, traer... y por supuesto, entre ellas están las poti-compras. He hecho una pequeña lista de cosas que quiero probar:

• Mascarillas de Kose.
• Loción de ácido hialurónico de hada Labo.
• Brochas de Hakuhodo y Yojiya.
• Aceite de pelo de Shu Uemura.
• Distintas segundas marcas de Kanebo y Shiseido en droguerías tipo: Matsumoto y Sundrug.

Mientras tanto, he dejado una serie de entradas programadas para este mes que publicaré los domingos. Espero que vosotras también disfrutéis del verano estéis donde estéis.

Exciting news today!  I'm going to spend my summer holidays in Japan! I had dreamt about this trip for a long time, and finally it's here, I'm really excited about it!
I've written down many things that I need to see, do, bring ... and of course, among them there's beauty shopping. I made a small list of things I want to try:

• Kose masks.
• Hada Labo Hyaluronic acid lotion.
• Hakuhodo and Yojiya brushes.
•  Shu Uemura hair oil.
•  Kanebo and Shiseido drugstore brands in drugstores like: Matsumoto and Sundrug.

Meanwhile, I have left a series of posts planned for this month to be published on Sundays. I hope you also enjoy summer wherever you are.

Empties 3. Terminados 3.

La tercera entrega con mis productos terminados. No sé vosotras, pero a mí me encanta terminar productos e intento no tener dos productos similares abiertos a la vez, ¡aunque no siempre lo consigo! Os enseño lo que acabo de terminar.

The third "Empties" installment on my blog. I do not know if you do, but I love using up products and try not to have two similar products open at once, although I don't  always succeed on that! Let's take a look at these products.

1.- Galènic tónico floral.

Tónico súper fresco al agua de loto y sin alcohol. Tiene un ligero perfume a flores blancas y no es nada agresivo con la piel. Contiene 400ml y dura muchísimo, yo lo he usado día y noche durante unos 3 meses, y no me he cansado de él.

¿Lo compraré otra vez? Seguro.

1. - Galénic Refreshing Toner.

Super Fresh Tonic with lotus water and without alcohol. It has a light scent of white flowers and it is not aggressive with my skin. Contains 400ml and lasts forever, I used it day and night for about 3 months, and I don't get tired of it.

Would I buy again? Sure.

2.- La Roche Posay. Effaclar Duo.

No os voy a contar nada nuevo de este producto, un básico en mi rutina desde que lo descubrí. Lo uso puntualmente cuando noto que me va a salir algún granito, y en un día desaparece. no he probado nada igual, me encanta.

¿Lo compraré otra vez? Ya lo he hecho.

2. - La Roche Posay. Effaclar Duo.

I'm not going to say anything new of this product, a basic on my routine since I found it. I use it occasionally when I notice i'm going to have a breakout, and the breakout disappears overnight. I have not tried anything like it, I love it.

Would I buy again? I've already done it.

3.- Drip Dry OPI. Gotas de secado.

Si lo que buscas es un producto que se limite a acelerar el secado de tus manicuras, éste puede servirte. En mi opinión se queda un poco corto, ya que no prolonga la manicura en la uña ni le aporta brillo.

¿Lo compraré otra vez? Probablemente no.

3. - OPI. Drip Dry.

If you are looking for a product that simply helps your nail polishes dry up faster, then this can be your product. In my opinion it is a little short, because it does not protect your manis or adds extra shine to your nail polishes.

Would I buy again? Probably not.

4.- Shiseido máscara purificante.

Suelo aplicarme una máscarilla purificante una vez a la semana, para eliminar grases e impurezas, aunque depende mucho de cómo se encuentre mi piel esa semana. Normalmente dejaba actuar este mascarilla unos 5 minutos, no más, porque si no me resecaba la piel, y retirándola con agua templada. Una mascarilla correcta.

¿La compraré otra vez? No creo, hay muchas otras que quiero probar, actualmente estoy con la de arcilla blanca de Kielh's.

4. - Shiseido Purifying Mask.

I use to apply myself a purifying face mask once a week to remove  impurities, although it depends on how my skin is feeling that week. I usually leave it for 5 minutes, no more, and remove it with warm water. It's a standard mask.

Would I buy again? I do not think so, there are many other masks I want to try, I am currently using Kiehl's White clay one

5.- Clarins Masvelt. Crema adelgazante zonas rebeldes.

Una de mis cremas corporales favoritas. Adelgazar, lo que se dice adelgazar no adelgaza, no os voy a engañar, pero me encanta su textura, su olor, su sensación en la piel y sus resultados. Noto mi piel más firme, tonificada y lisa.

¿La compraré otra vez? En cuanto tenga algún descuento, porque es muy cara. Unos 45€.

5. - Clarins Masvelt. Body Shaping Cream.

One of my favorite body lotions. Let's say the truth, you won't get slimmer by using this cream only, but I love its texture, smell, the feeling on my skin and its results. I notice my skin firmer, toned and smooth.

Would I buy again? I will If  I get any discount, because it is very expensive. About 45 €.
